We are currently seeking a IT Financial Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Day-to-Day Job Duties
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business decisions.
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and analytical models using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Perform variance, trend, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Validate, reconcile, and maintain financial data across enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain financial models, KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.
- Identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Automate recurring financial reports and analytical processes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Risk, Operations, and Business teams.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and support month-end/quarter-end reporting.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to business and senior management.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and process improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or FP&A.
- 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and financial modeling.
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- 3+ years of experience working with large financial datasets and enterprise systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Python/R or other reporting automation tools.
- 2+ years of experience with financial systems such as ERP, General Ledger, Treasury, or Investment Management platforms.
- 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional Finance, Technology, Operations, and Business teams.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, KPIs, data quality, reconciliation, and management reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Investment Management.
- Experience with FP&A, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, or modern analytics platforms.
- Experience using AI and automation tools for financial reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of financial data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $96,800.00 to $145,200.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
