About the TeamYou will be joining the Technical Account Management team at Nutanix. This team is dedicated to ensuring customer success and operational excellence for customers of varying sizes and industries, focusing on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service. The culture within the team emphasizes customer advocacy, communication, and continuous improvement, where members are encouraged to present insights and best practices to the larger team. As part of a larger Customer Experience organization, you will work closely with Support, Services, Education Services, and Sales teams.
You will report to the Manager, Services Delivery, who fosters a supportive leadership style aimed at empowering team members while holding them accountable for performance metrics. They are deeply committed to ensuring that every TAM has the resources, mentorship, and cross-functional backing needed to succeed in complex enterprise environments. Under their guidance, you will have the autonomy to shape customer architectures while receiving the strategic support required to navigate challenging escalations and influence operational standards.
This role involves periodic travel to support critical customer and team engagements. This travel is essential for building strong relationships, understanding data center environments firsthand, and delivering high-impact strategic operational reviews.
Your Role
Develop a deep, technical understanding of the customer’s business priorities, data center architecture, and IT initiatives to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
Lead strategic operational reviews and comprehensive health checks that connect Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes, risk reduction, modernization, and operational efficiency.
Lead proactive lifecycle planning, including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations, ensuring clear ownership, executive communication, and timely resolution.
What You Will Bring
Must be a US Citizen, residing in the continental US.
8+ years in technical customer-facing roles, such as Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or Technical Customer Experience Manager.
Proven experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
Deep expertise in at least one technical domain, such as virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, security, and enterprise workloads.
Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.
