Nutanix is looking for a passionate Advisory Solutions Architect - AIto drive customer adoption and success with our Enterprise AI and Cloud Native solutions. You will serve as the primary AI Advisor, helping enterprises build scalable infrastructure to support LLMs, Generative AI (GenAI), and distributed AI workloads. You will connect complex customer data challenges with modern AI solutions and communicate technical value to diverse audiences, from ML engineers to C-level executives.
As a key technical leader, you will not only develop and present demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) but also provide consultative guidance on AI architecture, GPU optimization, MLOps implementation, and best practices. Your ability to translate complex technical capabilities into business value will be essential to drive growth and deliver transformative results for our customers.

Your Role
This is a technical pre-sales role where you will support customers in achieving their AI and IT modernization goals by leveraging your expertise in AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, and MLOps.
Primary AI Advisor:Act as the lead domain expert in running distributed AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes, leveraging deep market knowledge to propose architectures for specific business challenges.
Sales Strategy & Deal Execution:Partner closely with regional account teams to drive complex AI deals to closure. Apply enterprise sales methodologies to lead technical discovery, architect tailored solutions, execute high-impact POCs, and navigate technical objections to successfully support customers throughout the sales cycle.
Pipeline Generation & Evangelism:Accelerate regional pipeline growth by designing and delivering technical workshops, hands-on labs, and immersive sessions that uncover new opportunities and showcase the value of our AI solutions to prospects.
Engage & Accelerate:Engage with technical leadership, data science teams, and executive stakeholders to build strong relationships, onboard new AI customers, and progress large strategic opportunities.
Demonstrate Value:Create and deliver advanced technical presentations and demonstrations focused on designing and operating GenAI environments, LLMs, and MLOps.
Market Intelligence & Innovation:Foster an innovative culture by sharing insights on GenAI advancements, competitive AI infrastructure, and the broader Cloud Native ecosystem within the organization.
Partner Alignment:Identify and establish partnerships with Systems Integrators (SIs), channel partners, and hardware specialists (e.g., GPU vendors) to scale AI solution delivery and market influence.
Drive Expansion:Perform regular check-ins with existing customers to extract valuable insights, drive AI platform adoption, expansion, and renewals.
Go-to-Market Support:Act as a technical evangelist at regional marketing events and conferences, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design marketing collateral, reference architectures, and technical enablement materials.
Product Influence:Actively participate in Product Management and Engineering meetings to provide field insights and influence the development of our Enterprise AI solutions.
What You Will Bring
7 to 9+ years of proven pre-sales or solution architecture experience, focusing on AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud-native environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
AI/ML Infrastructure: Deep understanding of GPU architectures, hardware acceleration, and the physical infrastructure required to run high-performance AI training and inference environments.
Distributed AI on K8s: Expert-level experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing AI/ML workloads on enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
Modern AI Workloads: Proven experience with designing Generative AI environments. Familiarity with LLMs, serving frameworks, foundation models, and model routing/management tools (e.g., LiteLLM, AI gateways).
Storage & Networking for AI: Strong foundational knowledge of high-performance storage and low-latency networking architectures specifically optimized for data-heavy AI workloads.
MLOps Mastery: Strong knowledge of MLOps pipelines, AI lifecycle management, and integrating open-source AI tooling with GitOps/DevOps workflows.
Pre-sales Acumen: Deep understanding of technical discovery, MEDDPICC (or similar methodologies), ROI, and business case development to support complex deal closure.
Leadership & Mindset: Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach in fast-paced settings. Exceptional ability to engage effectively with all levels of business and IT contacts.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region for customer engagements, industry events, and stakeholder collaboration.
