Junior Software / Firmware Application Support Engineer (m/f/d)
You will be a member of the Customer Application Support team and part of a worldwide technical community providing premium pre and post sales technical support to NXP customers and their projects. You drive design-in activity at customer sites in close cooperation with the regional NXP support and sales teams; you provide technical skills & support to NXP’s sales staff and will liaise with the NXP technical community about technical issues and future roadmap of your customer(s).
Job Responsibilities:
Provide proactive technical support and solution engineering for customers
Support customers remotely and on site
Offer technical consulting and guidance during customers’ system definition phase
Support technical design-in activities and lead customer projects
Deliver technical product and solution training to customers
Create application notes and technical support materials
Contribute engineering support during product development
Share customer feedback to help shape next-generation products
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in C and C++ programming
Python and Linux knowledge is an advantage
Basic understanding of microcontrollers
Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer support and training
