How do we work?

As our Senior Social Media & Content Manager for APAC, you will join our global PR & Social Media Team - collaborating across the UK, Poland, Singapore, and Canada - to drive OANDA’s social presence and regional impact. Reporting directly to the Global Social Media Lead, you will act as a strategic growth partner and the "go-to" expert for social strategy, PR, and high-impact content (including video production) centered on Foreign Exchange (FX) and Indices. In this role, you will leverage deep market insights and channel expertise to transform complex trading narratives into human, engaging conversations that build brand reputation and elevate our footprint across the region.

You will focus primarily on Singapore (70%), Australia (20%), and emerging markets (10%). To align smoothly with APAC business hours, your workday in Warsaw will follow anearly schedule starting at 7:00 AM. However, on in-office days (2 times a week), you have the flexibility to begin your shift at 9:00 AM.

In this role, you will:

Social Media

• Own and manage a calendar of social media posts and a production pipeline of creative assets, fully aligned with the Marketing calendar.

• Partner with local stakeholders to ensure the content is aligned to business priorities and audience interests.

• Collaborate with Performance Marketing Team to align on marketing goals and campaigns, syncing on opportunities for paid distribution.

• Develop and execute a video creation roadmap to communicate brand USPs, demonstrate social proof, support product launches and illustrate platform functionality.

Content

• Collaborate with APAC Analysts to coordinate the review, approval and distribution of key content across website and social media;

• Work closely with the CRM Team to facilitate the repurposing of content for client emails.

• Develop a plan to distribute content (written and video) primarily via organic social channels.

PR & Communications

• Lead the drafting, approval, and distribution of local press releases and divisional announcements, working closely with the Head of PR.

• Develop and execute a thought leadership and product-led communications calendar, ensuring content is aligned with media interest and distributed regionally.

What skillset do you need to be successful in this role?

• Proven experience scaling organic social media presence and managing active communities, including client review sites and online reputation platforms.

• A keen eye for social media trends and brand identity, knowing how a modern, premium brand should show up and engage across evolving channels.

• Hands-on expertise in content and video production (editing, static graphics, and a confident on-camera presence), with a strong eye for visual storytelling.

• Understanding of SEO basics and paid social media distribution strategy.

• Strong communications skills, with experience in drafting press releases, proactive media outreach, and driving thought-leadership initiatives.

• Excellent English copywriting skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a clear, human voice across digital channels.

• Strong organizational and cross-functional stakeholder management abilities, comfortable juggling multiple creative pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in the Finance/Investment/FinTech sector, good understanding of financial markets and how retail traders operate.

• Experience of editing both long and short form written content.

• Being familiar with social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Talkwalker).

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira/Atlassian, Asana, Trello) and CMS platforms (e.g., Wagtail, WordPress).
