  • Follow Instructions from Executive Directors and done with attention to detail.
  • Ensure a clean and neat working environment.
  • Use working time productively.
Duties
  • General office administration.
  • Quote Customers via email and/or telephonically.
  • Advising customers on the lead-time on order - deliveries / collections in-line with feedback from the Compliance & Logistics Manager.
  • Following up on customer account payments/short payments etc.
  • Ensuring the customers stay within their credit limit etc.
  • Ensuring COD are paid before the product is released.
  • Manage staff those reporting directly and indirectly to you.
  • Review customer satisfaction survey and action issues and report.
  • Provide the daily plan for the day taking into account vehicle availability and overtime.
  • Managing customer complaints and completing Corrective action requests.
  • Adhering ISO 9001.
  • Monitoring customer sales with detailed sales report - and alert when drop in sales and provide solutions/ideas for improvement.
  • Build a customer sales data base and sales reports.
  • Targeted marketing based off information from customer sales data base.
  • Build one-on-one relationships with customers and assist with their growth (tenders, projects, specials).
  • Assist customers with technical advice and recommendations.
  • Manage distribution of customer gifts.
  • Branding awareness and marketing ideas.
  • Create and update a FAQ database for knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and record leads and allocate where possible.
  • Decline customer orders if they have reached their credit limit.
  • Hold back orders if payment has not yet been received.
  • Communicate directly with customers on delivery times, price increases and current stock levels.
  • Manage customer geographical footprints.
  • Give price discounts to customers.
  • Request documentation from customer (credit app, etc.).
  • Provide input into performance reviews.
  • Create a customised marketing strategy.
  • Discipline those that report to you and manage their performance.
  • Load orders onto Pastel.
  • Load orders onto the Company WhatsApp group.
  • All customer queries, technical data sheets, pricing etc.
  • Management of petty cash (small cash purchases).
  • Notify Executive Director of any issues being experienced with the computer and printer etc. to ensure it can be replaced in a timeous manner as to not affect customer service/experience.
  • Generate all customer invoices.
