What is the opportunity?
Omnissa is seeking a Product Manager to run day-to-day product management for Workspace ONE Launcher and support the go-to-market motion for our frontline worker portfolio. Frontline is where device management stops being an IT abstraction and becomes the shift itself: a nurse at a workstation cart, a warehouse picker on a shared rugged handheld, a retail associate on a checkout tablet. You'll own the backlog for the application those workers touch every shift, work directly with engineering to ship it, and partner with Product Marketing and the field to bring it to market. You'll report to the product leader for the Google & Frontline portfolio and work alongside a senior PM on portfolio strategy, giving you a defined scope to own and room to grow into broader product direction. Here is a breakdown:
- Own the Workspace ONE Launcher backlog across single-app and multi-app modes, staged and shared device check-in/check-out, and managed home screen experiences on Android.
- Write Epics and user stories with precise, testable acceptance criteria, and groom the backlog with engineering to keep sprints loaded and unblocked.
- Contribute to the frontline roadmap by researching customer requirements, sizing opportunities, and recommending prioritization to the portfolio product leader.
- Partner with UX on Launcher end-user and administrator workflows, reviewing designs against Material Design standards and real frontline usage conditions such as gloved hands, low light, and offline devices.
- Support frontline go-to-market execution with Product Marketing, Sales, and Solution Engineering, contributing feature messaging, launch checklists, release notes input, and demo content.
- Run release readiness for Launcher, coordinating with Documentation, Release Management, Localization, and Support so each release ships with complete collateral.
- Participate in customer and prospect calls to gather requirements, validate designs, and follow up on committed feature requests.
- Track product usage and adoption metrics for Launcher, building recurring reporting that shows where customers succeed and where they stall.
- Triage inbound feature requests and escalations, partnering with Support and Engineering to reproduce issues, assess impact, and route fixes into the backlog.
- Maintain internal enablement material for Launcher, including demo environments, FAQs, and enablement decks for customer-facing teams.
- Author and review customer-facing technical content covering Launcher configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
- 3+ years in product management, product marketing, technical marketing, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or another customer-facing enterprise software role.
- Direct professional experience in enterprise mobility, unified endpoint management, mobile application development, or frontline worker technology; this role assumes you have worked in or adjacent to this space before.
- Working knowledge of Android device management, including Android Enterprise enrollment modes, dedicated and fully managed deployments, and managed configurations.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear requirements and ship features with an engineering team on an agile cadence.
- Comfort presenting to customers & internal stakeholders and translating technical detail into plain language.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to author accurate customer-facing content.
- Collaborative working style, with a track record of driving work forward across teams you don't own.
- Data-driven approach to prioritization, with experience using product analytics or usage telemetry.
- Hands-on experience with Workspace ONE UEM or a comparable enterprise endpoint management platform.
- Exposure to frontline verticals such as retail, healthcare, logistics, transportation, or manufacturing, including shared device and shift-based work patterns.
- Familiarity with rugged device ecosystems or Android OEM programs.
