Supervisor, Process Improvement

The overall role of Supervisor, Process Improvement is to review current processes and/ or Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and identify non-value added control to all Functions as well as provide support in developing the policies and SOP to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Review current SOPs/ operational processes/ policies developed by relevant Function to identify non-value added controls and risks.
• Identify the control gaps and non-value-added control of each process of the business and proposed control to be implemented to function management to mitigate the risk.
• Work closely with all functions and management to understanding end to end process of the business and develop policies and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in developing a process workflow and drafting narratives in the established templates in consultation with all Functions to ensure that their works are properly documented and carried out in a consistent way.
• Coordinate an orientation on the approved policies and standard operating procedures to relevant Functions to ensure that all relevant employees are familiar with relevant policy and procedure changes.
• Follow up the business process to ensure the agreed control has been implemented.
• Act as document control leader for all SOPs and policies by taking the leading role to ensure that documents are properly controlled by each Function.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by function management.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting and Finance.

• Experiences:
  • Three year working experience in development of policies and standard operating policy.
  • Experience in external or internal audit or risk management is a plus.
• Skills and knowledge:
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Knowledge of diverse business processes in a wide range of industries.
  • Competency in using Microsoft package. Ability to operate MS Visio is a plus.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good inter-personnel skills with an ability to work as a team.
