A fast-growing B2B SaaS platform in the US property management industry.

Our platform supports complex multi-tenant workflows, integrations, payments, and operational processes that real businesses rely on every day.

As we continue to grow, we are investing in modern engineering foundations, developer experience, AI-first development, and AI orchestration to help product teams ship faster, safer, and with more confidence. We are early in formalizing our platform engineering function and are looking for ahands-on platform leader to shape the engineering backbone for continuous delivery, stronger developer experience, better observability, and practical AI-first enablement.

The Role

This role is centered on hands-on platform engineering, developer experience, and lead-level technical ownership across the path from development to production. You will build shared capabilities, create practical paved roads, and help product engineering teams build, ship, and operate reliable software faster, safer, and with more confidence.

What You Will Do

• Shape and drive a practical platform roadmap across CI/CD, release automation, environments, observability, developer workflows, and engineering productivity.
• Build internal tools, paved roads, templates, automation, and reusable patterns that make the right engineering path the easiest path.
• Improve local development, deployment workflows, environment reliability, and production visibility across product engineering teams.
• Increase delivery confidence through automated validation, quality signals, release guardrails, and faster production feedback loops.
• Partner with product engineering teams to identify delivery friction and turn it into platform improvements.
• Treat engineering teams as internal customers and apply a platform-as-product mindset, focused on adoption and measurable impact.
• Use DORA, DX, and engineering productivity signals to identify friction, prioritize platform work, and measure improvement.
• Help establish practical AI-first developer workflows across coding, debugging, reviews, and documentation, using tools such as Claude Code, AI coding agents, MCP-connected workflows, and LLM-based automation where they add real value.
• Raise engineering standards through pairing, design reviews, code reviews, technical guidance, and practical examples.
• Lead by influence today, with the potential to grow into formal platform leadership as the function matures.

What You Bring

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, developer experience, engineering productivity, internal tooling, CI/CD, or related areas.
• Experience establishing or materially improving a platform function, DevEx function, or shared engineering platform.
• Hands-on engineering depth: you build the systems you advocate for.
• Experience creating paved roads, internal tools, automation, reusable patterns, or delivery workflows used by engineering teams
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, release automation, observability, environments, and production operations in a real SaaS environment.
• Ability to drive cross-team technical goals without waiting for every detail to be defined
• Ability to earn trust with engineers, leaders, and cross-functional partners through clear communication and strong technical judgment.
• A practical mindset toward AI-first development, focused on real engineering workflows rather than hype
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Technology and Tools

AWS is required. We run on AWS, and you have built and operated on it across services such as VPC, ECS, EC2,S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

Strong candidates will also have hands-on experience with several of the following:

• Go, Python, C#, or similar platform-oriented languages.
• Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
• Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar CI/CD and delivery platforms.
• Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar observability platforms.
• DORA, DX, or engineering productivity metrics, including tools such as LinearB, GetDX, or similar.
• LLMs and AI development tooling such as Claude Code, AI coding agents, MCP-connected workflows, or related automation.

Nice to Have

• Production-grade Go experience.
• Delivering for, or modernizing, a C# / .NET on Windows estate.
• TypeScript, React, or frontend platform experience.
• Internal developer portals, service scaffolding, golden paths, or platform-as-product practices.
• Modernizing legacy systems in a mature production SaaS environment.
• Fintech, payments, accounting, eCommerce, property management, or other workflow-heavy transactional domains.
• Security, access controls, compliance-aware delivery, or policy-as-code.
