Job Description:
This recruitment will be used to fill three part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) CFSL Office Student Assistant for the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Oregon State University (OSU).
The Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life is seeking creative and engaging students who are highly motivated, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and gifted at visual storytelling. This position will work to perform tasks such as staffing the front desk, greeting visitors to the office, answering phone calls and emails, distributing mail, keeping the office tidy, and other office administrative duties. Office Student Assistants will also assist in office attendance and participation tracking of CFSL events. Contribute to small and large scale events planning for the CFSL community. Students in this position will be collaborating with pro-staff on projects when needed.

Position Duties:
This position will work to perform tasks such as staffing the front desk, answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, and answering emails.
Assist in office attendance and participation tracking of CFSL events.
Help with tabling for new student programs like Orange and Black days and Beaver Open House.
Contribute to small- and large scale events planning for the CFSL community.
Support marketing efforts for the CFSL and the community.

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*
*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by theOffice of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Required Qualifications:
Membership in a social fraternity or sorority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take direction and complete assignments on deadline
Efficacy in Microsoft Office platforms and other forms of communication technology.
Demonstrated effective customer service Skills
Organizational skills and ability to pay great attention to detail
