Jr. QA Engineer

The Jr. QA Engineer role at Paper.id is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with both the product and technical teams to identify and report bugs, as well as help design and maintain robust testing frameworks.

As part of our team, you'll contribute to the enhancement of our system's functionality and performance. Your work will support our continuous integration and delivery efforts, ensuring that we maintain high standards of quality and performance.

Skills & Qualification

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Experience working in a software company or startup is a plus
• Experience in automation testing tools such as Cypress and Katalon
• Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with Node.js, is advantageous
• Hands-on experience in designing and executing functional and integration tests
• Basic programming skills are essential
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both Bahasa and English
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

Responsibilities

• Identify and report bugs to the product and tech teams to enhance product quality
• Design, create, and maintain test scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage
• Understand the functional modules and logic of the system to develop effective test strategies
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans and cases to ensure clear communication and traceability
• Integrate automated testing using CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process
• Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and Postman to ensure system reliability under load
• Maintain detailed QA reports and documentation to track quality metrics and improvements
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports as directed by management
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to adapt testing strategies in line with evolving product roadmaps
