We are looking for an experienced Systems Security Engineer to join an exciting opportunity with our client.

Work Arrangement: Remote

Contract Duration: 12-18 Months

Experience: 5+ Years

Seniority: Independent Contributor

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and strengthen the security of enterprise systems, servers, networks, endpoints and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement security hardening, IAM, MFA and privileged access controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate security remediation.
• Monitor security logs, investigate alerts and support incident response.
• Maintain security documentation, risk registers and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to implement security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Security, Infrastructure Security or Cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux security, networking and firewalls.
• Experience with IAM, vulnerability management and security monitoring.
• Understanding of CIS Controls, NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
• Ability to work independently and deliver in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud security experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR and security automation.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP or CISM.
