About Position:

The Customer Access Solution Architect will be a key member of the Solution Architecture team, responsible for technology choices and solution design across multiple products and services. This role focuses on enabling external customers to connect, authenticate, and integrate with our services. As a technical leader, you will research, analyze, propose, and architect solutions that align with the business and technology needs of the enterprise, acting as a trusted partner to the business.

What You'll Do:

• 5+ years of architecture or engineering experience in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.
• Strong problem-solving, oral and written communication skills, including experience with executive presentations.
• In-depth knowledge of current technology, industry standards, frameworks, and emerging technology trends.
• Ability to relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and multiple concurrent activities.
• Partner with senior leadership of internal business lines, customer entities, and infrastructure providers to identify business needs.
• Shape IT vision by offering strategic and tactical technical solutions along with a transition roadmap for realization.
• Define strategic direction regarding technologies, standards, processes, and current/target state architectures across the enterprise.
• Ensure customer access solutions adhere to strategic direction in terms of technologies, standards, and processes.
• Collaborate with technology, business, and governance areas to outline large transformation programs and deliver solutions.
• Work with other Enterprise, Platform, Security, Data, and Infrastructure Architects to design and deliver solutions.
• Guide the organization in incorporating architecture design patterns, system best practices, and standards in architecture, security, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendors, conducting vendor evaluations, proof of concepts, and recommending solutions for improvement.
• Demonstrate leadership and agility when responding to change or working with ambiguity.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Experience in designing highly secure and resilient solutions for Web, API, File Delivery, and Messaging access.
• Experience designing solutions for hybrid architectures spanning traditional data centers, cloud service providers, and SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, Load Balancer, Network Security & Routing, DDoS, VPN, and MPLS VPM based Private Networks.
• Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure PKI, Digital Certificates, Encryption, and Digital Signing.
• Experience defining future state strategy and architecture principles in support of business roadmaps.
• Experience developing reference architecture, principles, and standards.
• Strong understanding of Customer Connectivity solutions related to Private Networks, Access Management, and System Integration.
• Bill Payments industry experience is a plus.
• WAN and cloud connectivity with security experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or related experience.
• Extensive experience as a Customer Access Solution Architect, designing customer-focused solutions.
• Ability to drive innovative solutions that address customer needs and business requirements.
• Strong focus on aligning solution architecture with enterprise strategic goals.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Confident presentation and communication skills to articulate ideas, recommendations, and architectural direction.
