Senior SAP ABAP / Developer Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP / Developer Consultant with strong technical expertise in SAP development, application enhancement, system integration, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering end-to-end SAP technical solutions and supporting complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP ABAP Development: Strong experience in Classical and Interactive Reports, ALV Reports, Function Modules, RFCs, BAPIs, ABAP Dictionary, and Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).

• Forms Development: Hands-on experience with SAP Adobe Forms, Smart Forms and all new forms

• Debugging & Enhancements: Advanced debugging, dump analysis, User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.

• Modern ABAP & CDS: Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, modern ABAP syntax, and SAP HANA performance optimization.

• OData & SAP Gateway: Development and maintenance of OData services, CRUD operations, and integration with SAP applications.

• SAP Fiori & SAPUI5: Experience with SAPUI5, JavaScript, XML Views, Controllers, MVC architecture, data binding, OData integration, Fiori Elements, and Fiori Launchpad.

• SAP Integration: Hands-on experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, and system integrations, CPI capabilities & migration and system integrations

• SAP BTP: Knowledge of SAP BTP services, destinations, connectivity, and cloud-based application extensions.

• Performance Optimization: Analyze and resolve performance issues using SAP debugging and performance analysis tools.

• Technical Support & Delivery: Troubleshoot production issues, perform code reviews and testing, manage transport requests, and prepare technical documentation.

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, handle complex technical requirements, and collaborate with functional and technical teams.

  • Knowledge of SAP development best practices, Clean Core principles, and modern ABAP technologies is an advantage.

  Preferred Skills

  Experience with (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), SAP Fiori Elements, and advanced SAP BTP development, CPI capabilities & migration) are must.
