We are looking for a highly execution-oriented technical programme manager (TPM) to act as the primary technology point of contact for business and SLT stakeholders. The role will focus on understanding business priorities, driving rapid solutioning discussions, funnelling requirements into respective engineering squads, and ensuring seamless execution across the delivery lifecycle.
The TPM will play a critical role in bridging business, product, engineering, QA, and vendor teams while ensuring structured backlog management, delivery governance, stakeholder communication, and end-to-end programme execution. This role requires strong ownership, structured thinking, relationship management, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Business Partnership and Requirement Management:
- Act as the primary SPOC for SLT stakeholders and business/product teams for technology requirements and execution tracking.
- Drive regular rapid solutioning sessions with business stakeholders to understand priorities, define approaches, and align execution plans.
- Funnel requirements into respective engineering squads and ensure clarity during grooming and backlog creation.
- Leverage internal technology platforms, tools, and reusable functionalities to provide scalable and optimised solutions.
- Translate business problems into structured technology requirements and execution plans.
Program and Delivery Management:
- Drive end-to-end ownership of programmes from requirement intake to production rollout and support.
- Manage SLT backlogs across various stages, including intake, prioritisation, grooming, execution, testing, deployment, and closure.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items across multiple initiatives.
- Ensure timely closure of action items and maintain execution governance.
- Coordinate effectively across product, engineering, QA, operations, and vendor teams for seamless delivery.
- Drive engineering execution follow-ups and ensure alignment with committed timelines.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
- Build strong working relationships with senior business leaders, product teams, engineering teams, and external vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships and track delivery commitments for third-party applications and integrations.
- Ensure effective collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to meet delivery goals.
- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment during prioritisation and execution discussions.
Requirements:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work closely with SLT, Engineering, Product, QA, and Vendor teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, and system workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail with strong execution rigour.
- Structured verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related technology disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, technology consulting, delivery management, or engineering program roles.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments, consulting organisations, or technology service industries is preferred.
- Exposure to banking, financial services, or fintech domains will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, vendor ecosystems, and cross-functional technology teams is preferred.
