Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru (Work from Office)
Experience: 10+ Years
Compensation: Up to ?90 LPA
About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on technology leader to drive software architecture, engineering quality and integrated delivery for advanced robotics and autonomous systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define software architecture across robotics, autonomy, cloud services and AI/ML infrastructure.
- Lead critical technical design, coding, code reviews and complex debugging.
- Drive software quality, CI/CD, automated testing, security and production reliability.
- Oversee integration and release readiness, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Lead engineers and technical leads across multiple teams.
- Ensure reliable software performance on real-world hardware.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Robotics or AI, including technical leadership.
- Proven experience architecting and deploying software on physical hardware such as robots, autonomous vehicles, drones or embedded systems.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, C++ and ROS.
- Understanding of autonomy technologies such as SLAM, perception, planning and AI/ML.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, large-scale data/model-training pipelines and CI/CD.
- Proven ownership of system architecture, production releases and engineering delivery across multiple teams.
Important:
This role requires hands-on technical leadership and proven hardware-based product experience. Pure cloud/SaaS architects, research-only profiles and non-technical engineering managers will not be suitable.
