  • Own OPEX and CAPEX forecasts, working with budget owners to validate assumptions and update spending plans as business needs change.
  • Reconcile actual expenses and prepare and post journal entries for monthly close, coordinating with Accounting and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Partner with Accounting to apply GAAP accounting rules to expense, capital, and forecast treatment.
  • Prepare and distribute management reports on OPEX and CAPEX performance, spending trends, and forecast assumptions for senior leadership.
  • Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, explaining operational drivers, risks, opportunities, and implications for future spending.
  • Partner with business leaders on ad hoc analyses to evaluate expense assumptions and the financial impact of proposed initiatives.
  • Partner with Procurement on contract management to align vendor agreements with budgets, forecasts, and spending plans.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting models and improve reporting processes, data quality, efficiency, and consistency.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of accrual accounting and hands-on experience preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling expenses, and documenting month-end close entries.
  • Ability to engage confidently with executive leaders while diving into the details with team members at every level of the organization.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with an ability to work efficiently and build repeatable processes.
  • Analytical judgment and clear communication skills to explain objectives, findings, and operational drivers of financial results.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines under pressure and respond quickly to changing business needs.
  • Experience in planning, analysis, and reporting for multinational organizations is a plus.
