BI & SQL Developer - Asset Management

One of Europe's leaders in Wealth Management solutions, Prometeia seeks resources to join teams that specialize in managing and developing digital platforms and tools to support financial intermediaries and investment firms.

MAIN TASKS:

• Maintain and improve existing database solutions, including queries, stored procedures, views, and tables in SQL Server and MySQL environments
• Detailed technical/functional analysis based on the designed use cases
• Creation and execution of test books
• Support to the technical development area
• Creation of dashboards with BI tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master's degree with good grades in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, economics/finance is required
• At least 2-3 years of experience within consulting or software delivery companies in banking, insurance or in asset management areas of financial intermediaries
• Excellent knowledge of MS OFFICE package
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and managing data
• Good knowledge of Tableau in creating dashboards and data profiling with SQL

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS (S3, Cognito)
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Python)
• Jira software

SOFT SKILLS:

• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Problem-solving attitude and communication skills.
• Teamwork attitude.
• Good knowledge of the English language, preferably with knowledge of a second foreign language.
