What You’ll Do
As a Merchant Underwriter, you will:
Evaluate Merchant Risk: Assess merchant applications to identify potential risks, ensuring compliance with fraud prevention and regulatory AML standards.
Supporting: in analysis and assessment of the credit risk on incoming business proposals and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.
Verify Key Information: Review critical documentation and details to confirm accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Conduct Due Diligence: Perform background checks and analysis to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Analyze Operations: Evaluate businesses to confirm alignment with company policies and standards.
Document Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal departments to address complex cases and enhance processes.

What We’re Looking For
We believe you have:
1-3+ years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, or related roles within the payments or financial services industry.
A critical mindset with the ability to evaluate risks from multiple angles.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Proficiency in analyzing complex structures and compliance requirements.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
