SAP Business Analyst (German speaking)

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements related to market communication into technical solution designs, following the development standards provided by the client.
• Technically define, document, and present data models in SAP Business Warehouse for customer approval.
• Design and implement data models for BDO Market Communication & Master Data Reporting based on relevant source systems.
• Create the required technical objects and develop the necessary ABAP and SQL coding in SAP BW/4HANA.
• Work with data from SAP MaCo Cloud, SAP S/4 Utilities, and CSV data sources.
• Implement developments according to the priorities defined by the Product Owner, aligned with key initiatives, business requirements, and quality assurance measures.
• Clarify requirements with business stakeholders and identify inconsistencies or logical errors in the provided requirements.
• Perform data and requirement cleansing activities where necessary.
• Document technical developments and ensure a proper handover to the client.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and other project participants in an agile project environment.
• Support the operation and further development of the Meter2Cash data and reporting landscape.

Requirements:

• Strong practical experience with SAP BW/4HANA and data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SQL and ABAP.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
• Experience with data integration and reporting based on different source systems, ideally including:
  • SAP MaCo Cloud
  • SAP S/4 Utilities
  • CSV data sources
  • Knowledge or experience with market communication processes in the energy/utilities sector.
  • Experience with relevant market communication data/processes such as VISL, INAN, DTAN, DESN, BUAN, and CNSL.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical concepts and data models.
  • Experience in technical documentation and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify logical inconsistencies in requirements or data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of independence and ownership.
  • Strong ability to communicate and justify technical solutions convincingly.
  • Experience working in an agile project environment.
