IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Administration, maintenance and optimization of the IT infrastructure, particularly within a production environment.
• Support and maintenance of server systems, networks and workstations to ensure stable IT operations.
• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software components.
• Conducting root cause analyses as well as identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Monitoring IT security and implementing protective measures to ensure system stability.
• Supporting the implementation of new IT projects and technologies.
• Documentation of IT processes and creation of guides for users and IT colleagues.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training or degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you have professional experience in IT systems administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Broad IT know-how with solid expertise in server and network technologies.
• Experience with virtualization solutions (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) as well as Windows and Linux environments.
• Basic understanding of IT security concepts and backup strategies.
• Independent and structured way of working combined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken (C1/C2 level). German language skills are considered an advantage but are not essential for this role.
