Job Description - UI/UX & Visual Design Intern

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX & Visual Design Intern to join our design team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for UI/UX and visual design, a solid understanding of user experience principles and design systems, and the ability to translate ideas into polished, engaging digital experiences.

This role will involve collaborating closely with designers and cross-functional teams to develop UI/UX solutions, icons, graphics, and other visual assets. The ability to leverage both traditional and AI-powered design tools is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, engaging, and visually polished UI/UX experiences across digital products and platforms.
• Create, refine, and optimize icons and visual assets, ensuring consistency, clarity, scalability, and usability.
• Develop graphic design assets for a variety of digital and marketing applications, using traditional design tools and/or AI-powered tools when appropriate.
• Apply and maintain an understanding of design systems, including visual components, typography, color, patterns, and design guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions with other designers to explore creative concepts and develop innovative design solutions.
• Collaborate with designers and cross-functional partners to ensure design concepts are aligned with product goals and brand standards.
• Present and communicate design concepts clearly, incorporating feedback and iterating toward high-quality final deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and AI tools and explore opportunities to improve design workflows and creative output.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in UI/UX and visual design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
• Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, including composition, typography, color, hierarchy, and visual consistency.
• Experience designing and optimizing icons and UI graphics.
• Strong understanding of design systems and how to apply them consistently across products and experiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other designers and contribute to creative brainstorming and critique sessions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance creativity with usability and functional requirements.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design and creative tools is a plus.

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

• Keynote and PowerPoint for presentations and visual storytelling.
• Illustration and visual artwork.
• Animation and motion design.
• 3D modeling and rendering.
• AI-assisted creative workflows and generative design tools.
• Experience creating visual assets for product launches, marketing campaigns, presentations, or other brand initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who combines strong visual design skills with an understanding of user experience and product design. You are curious about new technologies, comfortable experimenting with AI-assisted workflows, and enjoy collaborating with other designers to turn ideas into compelling visual experiences.
