SME Relationship Manager.
Client Acquisition & Sales: Develop and execute acquisition strategies to identify, onboard, and grow new SME clients while driving loan origination targets.
Relationship Management & Retention: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with SME clients through regular business reviews, proactive engagement, and high-quality service delivery.
Credit Assessment & Underwriting Support: Evaluate prospective clients' business operations, financial stability, and creditworthiness to determine suitability for lending.
End-to-End Deal Execution: Guide clients through loan requirements and manage the end-to-end application and documentation process for timely approval.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient loan processing and disbursement.
Portfolio Performance & Risk Management: Monitor loan portfolio performance to proactively detect emerging credit risks, manage repayment concerns, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Control: Ensure all commercial activities, client engagements, and documentation strictly adhere to internal policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Track industry trends and competitor activities to inform commercial strategies, providing regular performance insights and pipeline updates to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, with 4-5 years of experience in relationship management, lending, or sales within financial services; ideally serving SME clients.
Proven success in meeting or exceeding loan origination, sales, and portfolio growth targets through proactive client acquisition and cross-selling.
Strong knowledge of SME lending, financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring to evaluate business creditworthiness accurately.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Operations) to ensure seamless deal execution and disbursement.
Proficiency in using pipeline management tools to track sales activities and monitor portfolio performance.
