Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee our engineering department in Burgersfort, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, ensuring the successful completion of engineering projects, and maintaining the operational efficiency of our engineering department.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet company goals and objectives
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects
- Monitor and evaluate engineering processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate engineering efforts and resources
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the engineering department
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex engineering issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- ND/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 - 10 years mining experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
