We have an immediate career growth opportunity with our Information Workplace Services team for a talented Systems Administrator. This is an opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, multi-platform, multi-disciplined, classified systems environment resolving support issues for the engineering community using helpdesk and task assignment methods.
**This position will be onsite in El Segundo, CA **
What YOU will do:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and RHEL servers.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal teams.
- Respond to and resolve system-related incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for system administration.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments IAW NIST 800-53.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity.
- Test and validate disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- DoD SECRET security clearance.
- CompTia Security+ certification.
- Extensive experience with applying DoD STIGs to Windows and RHEL servers and workstations.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator with proven experience in Windows and RHEL.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator with proven experience using ESXI machines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
