Global Content Strategist, Generate

Job Purpose

This role owns the content strategy and narrative for RWS's Generate (Content Tech) pillar - spanning Tridion, Fonto, Propylon, Tridion Docs and Tridion One - translating PMM messaging and Content Tech domain knowledge into market-ready stories that build awareness, engagement and pipeline.

Content strategy sits at the core of this role. Working in close, ongoing partnership with the Head of Content Marketing and Product Marketing (Generate), this person helps shape and drive the master Content Tech plan and builds deep domain expertise in the space.

Given Propylon's highly specialised, niche legislative-technology market, this person is also the embedded business and domain specialist for Propylon, based in RWS's Dublin office to stay close to that team and its customer base.

This is a dedicated content specialist role: owning the editorial calendar, storytelling and content creation for Generate. The role will involve close partnership with the Campaigns team to make sure content output aligns with the campaign strategy and calendar. While the Campaigns team proposes, plans and orchestrates activation, this role provides the content strategy, narrative and assets that make those campaigns land.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Domain Knowledge

• Own the Generate (Content Tech) content strategy and editorial calendar, balancing evergreen storytelling with launch moments.
• Partner with the Head of Content Marketing and Product Marketing (Generate) to shape and prioritise the master Content Tech plan.
• Build deep domain knowledge across Tridion, Fonto, Propylon, Tridion Docs and Tridion One, and their buyer personas.
• Act as the embedded business and domain specialist for Propylon specifically, reflecting its highly specialised, niche legislative market and distinct customer base; based in the Dublin office alongside the core Propylon team.
• Identify market trends, whitespace and competitive angles that position RWS as a leader in content technology.

Content Creation

• Develop thought leadership, blogs, ABM assets, sales enablement and customer stories that translate PMM messaging into market-ready narratives.
• Work with Creative to keep every asset on-brand and tonally consistent.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with Product Marketing (Generate) to ensure accuracy, ICP alignment and message coherence.
• Partner with Brand and Creative on creative direction and visual consistency
• Work with the Campaigns team to align content output and story ideas with the campaign strategy, calendar and hero launches.
• Support Sales Enablement with content that amplifies Content Tech customer outcomes.

Performance & Optimisation

• Use insights and performance metrics (engagement, MQL/SQL contribution, pipeline influence etc.) to evolve content priorities.
• Feed learnings back to the Head of Content Marketing, Product Marketing and the Campaigns team.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in B2B content marketing or content strategy, ideally in technology, content tech, SaaS or AI.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills; able to simplify complex, technical Content Tech topics.
• Experience briefing and directing specialist teams or agencies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics and content or project management platforms.
• Strategic thinker who's equally comfortable drafting and briefing.
• Collaborative partner, comfortable working closely with Campaigns and Product Marketing.
• Curious about the Content Tech domain (structured content, CCMS, DITA, XML authoring) and willing to build deep expertise.
• Commercially aware and audience-led in decision-making.
