Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our growing team at Sacumen. As part of our team, you will work on developing security products, solutions, and connectors for cybersecurity product companies. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle, from design to deployment, and contribute to scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions.

Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
• Experience: 4+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of experience in Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement user stories and design solutions based on technical specifications.
• Integrate third-party applications and validate their components.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant software while adhering to secure coding standards.
• Strive for 100% unit test coverage.
• Conduct code quality checks and regular code reviews.
• Deploy software solutions and verify functionality.
• Work closely with the team to achieve sprint objectives.
• Continuously enhance the organization's standards and best practices.

Skills And Competencies:

1. Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Python programming.
• Expertise in one Python framework: Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST.
• Proficiency with GIT and Python virtual environments.
• Experience with the Python requests module and third-party libraries.
• Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing & Services, REST APIs, and Internet technologies.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripts.

1. Added Advantage Skills

• Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Qradar, Splunk).
• Experience in Python module/library creation.
