DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a motivated Associate DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD practices to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the deployment, automation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and applications on AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to work with modern DevOps tools and cloud-native technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain containerized applications on AWS EKS and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build, manage, and optimize Docker images and containerized workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Provision, configure, and manage AWS services, including EC2 S3 VPC, IAM, RDS, and Lambda.
• Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate application deployments and release management processes.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, Kubernetes, and application-related issues.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and cloud governance standards.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skills: AWS (EC2 S3 VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda), DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline), Linux, Python/Shell/Bash, AWS CloudWatch / Prometheus, Git, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda).
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, cloud security, and AWS best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
