About the role
We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Data Architect to support and evolve our Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem, focused on Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). This is a run-and-maintain engagement on a mature platform - the initial migrations are complete, and the focus now is on operating, optimizing, and enhancing what’s live. You’ll work directly alongside internal marketing, CRM, and analytics teams, not just execute isolated tickets.
Responsibilities
RTCDP
- Develop and maintain data sources, datasets, identity structure, schemas, destinations, and their retention/hygiene policies.
- Support guest segmentation and activation across channels (CRM: email, push, SMS; A/B testing/personalization via Adobe Target) and ad hoc analysis.
- Query and analyze RTCDP datasets ad hoc to help answer business questions.
AJO
- Act as a data steward, providing segmentation and trigger guidance for campaign, journey, and offer building/troubleshooting.
- Help build new AJO channels (primarily SMS marketing) and manage journey/offer/campaign hygiene.
- Develop new offer types and enhancements, partnering with middleware and front-end web/app teams.
- Serve as point of contact for offer issues/bugs.
- Lead the migration from Adobe ODE offers to Offer Decisioning and enable new AJO Decisioning features.
Cloud Data Platform (AWS / Databricks)
- Support AWS-based data infrastructure in the near term, partnering with internal data/engineering teams.
- Bring or build toward Databricks expertise to support a planned long-term migration to Databricks as the primary data platform.
Requirements
- Senior/Lead-level experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Hands-on experience with data architecture: schemas, identity resolution, datasets, destinations.
- Experience with AWS-based data infrastructure.
- Prior Databricks / lakehouse migration experience strongly preferred - this is a key evaluation criterion.
- Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders (CRM, Marketing, Analytics), not just ticket-based execution.
- Advanced English requiered.
