YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

Be part of something truly global - join our Transfer Pricing tax team and help shape the way how one of the world's leading technology companies manages its intercompany pricing. For our Transfer Pricing Team, we are looking for a Senior Tax Specialist Transfer Pricing (m/f/d)to join us in advising and defending tax transfer pricing matters on a worldwide scale. You will report directly to the Head of Transfer Pricing.

In this exciting and highly visible role, your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end TP advisory and defence: Provide expert transfer pricing advice to domestic and international group entities on all TP-related matters. This includes: coordinating with external advisors and representing SAP before tax authorities in global tax audits, APAs, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
• M&A and TP integration: Provide transfer pricing advice in relation with M&A transactions. In particular; supporting TP integration projects and delivering hands-on guidance to newly acquired legal entities throughout the post-acquisition onboarding process in close collaboration with the M&A Tax Team.
• TP system advice: Advice on and defend SAP's global transfer pricing system, with a particular focus on review and harmonization of the TP system of newly acquired corporations.
• TP model design and restructurings: Actively contribute to the design and implementation of new transfer pricing models, as well as provide TP guidance in relation with business reorganizations and restructurings.
• Intercompany agreement support: Draft, review, and maintain intercompany (ICO) agreements to ensure they precisely reflect SAP's transfer pricing policies and satisfy legal and tax requirements across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Intercompany charge review and knowledge-sharing: Review intercompany charges in close collaboration with the responsible departments. Continuously build transfer pricing awareness and capability through targeted training sessions for colleagues across SAP's global locations.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work as a trusted partner alongside key internal stakeholders. This includes; the National and International Global Tax teams, Controlling, Accounting, Shared Service Centers, and Legal.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in tax, law, economics, finance, accounting, business, mathematics/statistics, or a comparable discipline. A master’s or professional tax/accounting qualification is of advantage.
• 3 -5 years of hands-on experience in transfer pricing of multinational enterprises, either obtained in a Big Four consulting company or the inhouse tax department of a multinational enterprise.
• Solid technical expertise of OECD transfer-pricing principles, the arm’s length principle and international tax law.
• Experienced in handling M&A TP integration projects.
• Experience with global TP documentation and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Ability to apply economic analysis to commercial business models.
• Hands-on experience with operational transfer pricing and finance processes.
• Ability to work in complex projects, manage priorities, and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Solid negotiation skills - you are able to represent SAP’s positions assertively in interactions with internal stakeholders, external advisors and tax authorities.
• Self-driven, structured, and proactive working style - you take ownership and get things done.
• A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative, international environment.
• Fluent in English - written and spoken - at a negotiation-ready level; German or additional languages are advantageous
• Solid IT skills, ideally including experience with SAP ERP systems and TP tools.
• Comfortable working with AI-powered tools and analytics platforms in a tax context; willingness to develop and apply capabilities in AI data analytics AI-assisted automation, and agentic AI tools as part of day-to-day transfer pricing work.
