• Drive theevolutionofscience-basedand proactiveE&L approaches, movingbeyondreactivecomplianceand reducingexperimental burdenthroughpredictivemethodologies

• Developand advancemechanisticand data-drivenE&L methodologies, includingpredictivemodelsand integrationoftoxicologicaldataintoriskand safetyframeworks

• Evaluateemergingindustrytrends, regulatorydevelopments, and state-of-the-art technologiestoidentifyinnovationopportunitiesand guidescientificdirection

• Act asinternal and external Key Opinion Leader, contributingtoindustryconsortia, regulatoryinitiatives, scientificpublications, and conferencepresentations

• Lead high-level technicaldiscussionswithcustomersand contributetoproductqualificationstrategies, ensuringstrong customervaluecreationand differentiation

• Buildand leverageinternal and external networkswhilecoachingand mentoringscientistsand ensuringknowledgetransferacrossteamsand functions

Whatwill convinceus

• PhD withat least 10 yearsofexperienceorMaster’sdegreewithat least 12 yearsofexperience

• Recognizedglobal expert in Extractables& Leachables, materialsscience, ora relatedfieldwitha strong track record(e.g., publications, patents, presentations)

• Deep expertisein E&L science, polymer ormaterial chemistryand/orbiopharmaceuticalprocesses, and toxicologicaland safetyassessmentconcepts

• Strong understandingofGMP and pharmaceuticalregulatoryrequirementsaswellasbiopharmamanufacturingprocessesand single-usesystemapplications

• Proven experiencein modeling, data-drivenapproaches, ordigital toolsaswellastheabilitytotranslatescienceintobusinessimpact

• Excellent communicationand influencingskillsacrossdiverse stakeholderscombinedwithstrong mentoringand relationship-building capabilities

• Exceptionalproblem-solvingand decision-makingskillsin complexenvironmentsand a high levelofautonomyand scientificcredibilit

• Fluent English languageskills; additional
