Marketing Manager

• Work with the management team to craft and execute marketing strategies for the
• organization
• Manage the marketing team operations
• Identify opportunities within the brand’s target markets (locally and
• internationally)
• Develop strategies to penetrate key markets growth for Alara and Nok
• Develop strategies outside conventional methods to help increase revenue
• Generate ideas for promotion and campaigns
• Generate weekly activations to ensure traffic on the brand’s website
• Promote collaborations both with food, music, and other creative outlets in
• alignment with the organization’s brand
• Source for partners for projects
• Prepare and share marketing reports with management
• Create strategies to engage and retain customers
• Grow a new customer base for Alara/Nok
• Create and manage a budget to meet marketing objectives
• Train and improve marketing knowledge capacity with other departments
• Manage relationships with strategic corporate media and the retail industry
• Coordinate, track, and give a report on ongoing activations
• Ensure that the ALARA brand is at the cutting edge of digital innovation
• Be the in-house brand custodian by giving visual direction for internal and
• external collateral
• Plan and execute special marketing projects with the project manager internally
• and externally (such as launch parties, shopping soirees, Chef’s Tables, trade
• shows, exhibitions)
• Work very closely with other members of the team to ensure that all marketing
• initiatives are in line with the organisation’s brand values and guidelines
• Partner with creative services, retail team, and merchandising on promotional
• alignment, product assortment, and overall creative approvals
• Perform all other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge in traditional and digital marketing and communications
• Must be proficient with MS Office, Google Workspace,
• Knowledge of marketing principles, best practices, and procedures
• Ability to draw up a monthly, quarterly, and annual budget

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong project management skills

Education and Experience

• BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Management, or any other relevant field
• At least 5-7 years of marketing experience
• Professional certification will be an added advantage
