Pre-Sales Solutions Architect - AI & GPU Infrastructure

As our GPU Cloud business continues to scale, we are strengthening our AI & GPU Infrastructure capabilities to support a growing portfolio of large-scale GPU clusters and demanding AI workloads.

Your mission will be to act as the technical partner for our customers and prospects during the early stages of their projects, helping them translate complex AI and infrastructure requirements into scalable, high-performance GPU solutions.

You will combine deep technical expertise with a strong customer-facing mindset to qualify requirements, design tailored architectures, remove technical blockers, and accelerate the sales cycle for some of our most strategic GPU Cloud opportunities.

You will join our GPU Cloud organization and work closely with the Head of GTM GPU, supporting strategic opportunities across Europe and internationally.

The role sits at the intersection of customers, Sales, Engineering, Hardware, Product, Network, and Operations, giving you direct exposure to some of our most complex AI and HPC infrastructure projects.

You will contribute to the design of custom GPU solutions for customers running workloads such as AI training, inference, fine-tuning, RAG, and large-scale distributed computing, while supporting Scaleway's ambition to build a leading sovereign AI infrastructure platform in Europe.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE

• Prepare and actively participate in technical client presentations
• Deeply understand and analyze clients' AI workloads (including training, fine-tuning, inference, agents, and RAG)
• Qualify and translate client technical constraints (computational infrastructure, networking, data) into business value
• Engage closely with technical contacts and C-level executives to build trust and long-term relationships
• Design, plan, blueprint, and provision custom GPU clusters and distributed architectures
• Organize and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate technical viability
• Partner internally across HPC, Product, Hardware, Network, and Sales teams to build bespoke infrastructures
• Collaborate with sales teams to accelerate the closing process on large-scale deals
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to contribute to the continuous improvement of our GPU Cluster product lines
• Anticipate market needs and participate in defining future services along with their associated service level agreements (SLAs)

ABOUT YOU

HARDSKILLS:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in a technical pre-sales engineering role, ideally within an Hyperscaler or Neocloud environment
• Strong expertise in Cloud Architecture (IaaS / PaaS) and B2B complex sales cycles
• Deep knowledge of GPU Architecture / GPU Clusters (NVIDIA, AMD) and container orchestration (Kubernetes GPU)
• Familiarity with distributed systems and high-performance storage solutions (Slurm, Lustre, VAST, DDN, CUDA)
• Solid command of advanced networking protocols for HPC ecosystems (InfiniBand / RDMA)
• Familiarity with AI training, inference stacks, and MLOps architectures

SOFT SKILLS:

• Excellent business and technical English (both written and spoken) for a worldwide scope
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with both highly technical engineers and C-level executives
• Collaborative mindset with a proven ability to bridge the gap between product engineering and sales teams
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills with a business-driven mindset
• Strong team spirit and humility (knowing how to share credit with internal stakeholders)
