Location: Kallang, Singapore
Ready to dive into the world of data and AI? Join Schneider Electric's East Asia Customer Experience & Commercial Transformation Adoption team and gain hands-on experience working with data science, analytics, and digital commerce across more than 10 countries. You will collaborate with international stakeholders across Southeast Asia and other regions while supporting business decision-making through data-driven insights.
What will you do:
- Support the extraction, transformation, and visualization of sales data. Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend research.
- Assistwith the preparation and maintenance of monthly sales reports, including data consolidation, restructuring, and visualization.
- Develop and enhance sales and eCommerce dashboards to make analytics more intuitive and actionable for business stakeholders.
- Drive data science and analytics projects by developing, and optimizingstatistical, machine learning, and forecasting models.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, perform analyses, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
- Collaborate with a multicultural and international team supporting business operations across 10+ countries.
- Prepare sales presentations, customer proposals, business reviews, and management reports.
- Support lead generation and account mapping activities for key target accounts.
What qualifications will make you successful:
- Current Bachelor's or Master’s student in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Good understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
- Solid foundation in statistics, time series analysis, and machine learning.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
- Available to work at least 4 days per week.
- Preferred internship duration of 6 months or longer.
