The Role
SCYTALYS is looking for a skilled and motivated UI/UX Designer to support the design of mission-critical Command & Control (C2/C4ISR) systems used in real-time operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user-centric interfaces for command, control, monitoring, and situational awareness systems
- Translate complex operational workflows and real-time data into intuitive user experiences and visualizations
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, interaction models, and prototypes for complex applications
- Apply usability, accessibility, and human-machine interaction principles to support effective decision-making
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and domain experts to align user experience with operational requirements
- Conduct usability assessments, gather user feedback, and drive iterative design improvements
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and usability across applications through the use of design standards and best practices
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and reusable UI components
- Support interface validation activities and ensure design requirements are successfully implemented
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design for complex software products or technical systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, and human-machine interaction
- Experience designing data-intensive interfaces such as dashboards, monitoring tools, or control systems
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar platforms
- Ability to communicate and justify design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to design consistency and usability
- Experience working within structured product development environments
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
