  • Partner directly with business stakeholders across Shopee Thailand, structuring ambiguous business problems into clear, well-defined analytical frameworks and approaches.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from problem scoping and solution design to delivery and impact measurement.
  • Build and apply appropriate data science and statistical methods, from classical ML, operations research, and causal inference, to AI engineering solutions, to support business use cases.
  • Measure the business impact of solutions through experiments (A/B tests) and other evaluation methods, including hypothesis formulation, metric definition, and interpretation of results.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations that influence business decisions, through effective presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Explore recent developments in machine learning and AI, and quickly turn promising ideas into proof-of-concepts.
  • Plan and track project progress, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and support the team's day-to-day delivery when the team lead is away.
  • Guide and mentor team members on their projects, including reviewing approaches and technical work.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in data science, data analytics, or other quantitative modeling roles, with a track record of delivering measurable business impact.
  • Genuine curiosity and excitement about solving problems. Enjoys digging into a problem until it is solved, and proactively pushes work forward without waiting to be asked.
  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen.
  • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, machine learning, and AI.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with solid coding skills for data manipulation, modeling, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English, with the ability to independently present and discuss insights with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong ownership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build good relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in e-commerce, logistics, marketing data science, or agentic AI is a plus.
