Side is an American real estate technology company founded in 2017 that operates as a licensed brokerage behind the scenes for top-performing agents who want to run their own brand. Rather than recruiting agents into its own name, it supplies the brokerage licence, compliance, transaction management, marketing and technology while the agent's own company is what clients see, which inverts the traditional franchise relationship. Headquartered in San Francisco and privately held, it works with a deliberately small number of high-producing teams rather than pursuing agent count.

About SIDE

SIDE is a multi-award-winning specialist in games dialogue and audio production, working with some of the video game industry's most successful and respected companies.

With more than 20 years' experience and an international network of technical and creative specialists, SIDE works to deliver the truest interpretation of each client's vision for audiences across genres, platforms and languages.

Alongside the games industry, SIDE also works with organisations across technology and digital media.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Post-Production Coordinator to join our Post-Production team and coordinate workflows across multiple projects, ensuring agreed milestones and deliverables are completed on time and to a consistently high standard.

This is a hands-on coordination role at the centre of the post-production process. You will work across post-production, production and other internal teams, as well as with clients and external vendors, helping ensure projects remain organised, appropriately resourced and on track.

You will take ownership of project coordination from preparation and scheduling through to tracking, quality assurance and final delivery.

To succeed in the role, you will need to be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to identify and escalate potential issues before they affect delivery.

Fluent Mandarin and English, including speaking, reading and writing, are required for this position.

What You'll Be Doing

Project preparation and workflow coordination

  • Set up project documentation, tasks and workflows in line with company and departmental best practices.
  • Coordinate effectively between post-production colleagues and other departments.
  • Ensure key stakeholders and external vendors receive accurate project information.
  • Identify potential workload or project traffic issues and propose solutions.
  • Identify when additional resources may be required to meet project demands.
  • Respond to issues promptly and escalate to senior colleagues when appropriate.
  • Prepare and manage workflows across your assigned projects.

Scheduling and delivery

  • Schedule and book resources using departmental tools.
  • Coordinate multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of deliverables and support the timely delivery of final files to clients.
  • Adapt effectively to changing priorities, schedules and deadlines.
  • Apply effective project management practices throughout assigned projects.
  • Maintain clear communication between post-production and other departments.
  • Liaise with clients and production teams on best practices for post-production deliverables.
  • Work on-site as required by the role and agreed working arrangement.

Quality, tracking and project control

  • Track project progress against deadlines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Help ensure Technical QA standards are achieved across post-production projects.
  • Monitor project scope and proactively flag projects that may exceed what has been agreed.
  • Ensure completed projects are archived in accordance with departmental protocols.

Continuous improvement and team contribution

  • Work with senior colleagues to streamline workflows and promote best practices across the post-production pipeline.
  • Provide constructive feedback that supports the development of the post-production team.
  • Help evaluate and implement new tools, technologies and processes that improve post-production services.
  • Support junior colleagues and contribute to team development.
  • Work collaboratively while also being prepared to take initiative and lead when appropriate.

What We're Looking For

Post-production knowledge

  • A solid understanding of post-production workflows, including working with dialogue and video assets.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Pro Tools, Reaper, Adobe Audition and iZotope RX.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Excel and Word.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets and project management software to track project progress and resources.
  • An understanding of scheduling, resource allocation and QA best practices within post-production.
  • A strong interest in audio technology and enthusiasm for video games and interactive media.

Experience

We are looking for someone with experience of:

  • Managing multiple projects and large volumes of files across different languages and formats.
  • Scheduling and coordinating resources within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Tracking project progress and managing deliverables against tight deadlines.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Liaising with clients and/or external vendors.
  • Supporting or mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development.

2+ years' experience within a commercial audio post-production environment is preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence communicating with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Good judgement around when to work independently and when to escalate.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support others while taking ownership of your work.

Language Requirements

You must be fluent in:

  • Mandarin - speaking, reading and writing
  • English - speaking, reading and writing

Working Pattern

This position operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm.
