Siemens is a German technology conglomerate founded in Berlin in 1847 by Werner von Siemens around a telegraph that indicated letters rather than Morse code. After a decade of divestments it now concentrates on industry, infrastructure, transport and healthcare, supplying factory automation and control systems, building and grid technology, trains and signalling, and the Teamcenter and NX design software acquired through a long run of software purchases. The Siemens Xcelerator platform ties hardware to software and digital twins, and the group retains a majority stake in the separately listed medical imaging company Siemens Healthineers.

  • Identify PSSO-related operational issues and work with appropriate teams to resolve them
  • Maintain effective communication between local stakeholders and Siemens functions responsible for PSSO-related programs and processes
  • Provide general operational support to the organization, particularly for issues that span multiple teams or lack a clear functional owner
  • Identify, investigate, and drive resolution of day-to-day operational problems affecting the business
  • Coordinate across engineering, operations, IT, facilities, and other supporting organizations as required
  • Develop practical solutions to operational issues and ensure actions are followed through to completion
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, consistency, and efficiency
  • Implement and maintain solutions to support the R&D community and external groups
  • Work with an outstanding technical team, locally in Saskatoon and around the world, to ensure leading electronic design automation products evolve to meet customer expectations
  • Collaborate and iterate directly with developers, ensuring implementations of solutions or features maintain a reliable and high-quality product

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to independently manage multiple activities and competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to translate business requirements into actionable plans
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working across organizational and functional boundaries, including coordinating with enterprise IT and other centralized corporate functions
  • Ability to take ownership of ambiguous operational problems and drive them to resolution, with sound judgment to determine when escalation or broader organizational involvement is needed
  • Availability to work from our Saskatoon facility

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is based on experience and market values. You will be asked what your expectations are. There are multiple perks beyond the basic health insurance package, including RRSP matching, share purchase matching, company paid diversity days, and an extensive employee assistance program.
