Why this is important to us

The Lead Solutions Development Consultant is a senior individual contributor within the Data Management Services Value Stream, responsible for leading the delivery of complex solutions aligned with SimCorp standard platform designs and best practices to meet client needs.

This role is a direct technical role with direct responsibility for development, configuration, and implementation of Data Management solutions.

The Lead Solution Consultant applies deep domain and technical expertise to drive high-quality solution outcomes, manage mid- to large-scale initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. Experience with financial data domains is highly valued, such as:

• Security master / instrument data
• Market data (pricing, curves)
• Corporate actions
• ESG daata

What you will be responsible for,

• Develop and configure Data Management solutions including, Data acquisition pipelines (vendor feeds, APIs, file ingestion)
• Data normalization, matching, and golden copy logic
• Data validation and quality rules
• Data publishing and integration with SimCorp Dimension (SCD)
• This role blends lead development work (about 60-70%) with solution design and delivery leadership responsibilities.

• Lead Solution Build and Delivery: Own end-to-end solution build for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements,
• Provide Skilled Analysis and Guidance: Translate complex solution designs into robust solution architectures, solution designs, and delivery plans.
• Drive Project Execution: Lead solution workstreams within projects, coordinating with project managers, technical teams, and clients to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Investigate and Resolve Complex Issues: Lead analysis and resolution of complex solution or operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption and sustainable fixes.
• Mentor and Support Colleagues: Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior consultants and solution specialists, improving team capability.
• Client and Stakeholder Advisory: Support clients and internal stakeholders with specialist advice on standard solutions and impacts.
• Change and Adoption Support: Ensure solutions are effectively adopted by users through clear documentation, training support, and transition planning.
• Databases & Data Structures: data models to support business outcomes that include investment management data sets in enterprise data management including market data, instrument data, ESG, Alternative investments, index data
• Solid experience in Java / .NET / Python (or similar backend technologies) Solid understanding of:
• Data processing and ETL concepts
• SQL and relational databases
• Experience with:
• API integrations (REST, file-based interfaces)
• Data transformation and mapping frameworks
• Familiarity with distributed systems or data platform

Other requirements

• APAC with flexibility in EMEA hours (depending on business needs)
• Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
