Enterprise Architect – Digital Transformation

The successful candidate will provide enterprise-level architectural direction across digital initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, technology, security and integration standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture direction across digital initiatives.
• Develop and review architecture principles, standards and technology patterns.
• Provide guidance across digital applications, APIs, integration and backend platforms.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and technology strategy.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineering Leads, Business Architects and delivery teams.
• Assess architectural dependencies, risks and constraints.
• Provide input into API-led and event-driven integration approaches.
• Support architecture governance and design reviews.
• Ensure appropriate security, resilience, scalability and operational considerations are incorporated.
• Support the transition of architecture and approved designs into implementation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven experience across digital transformation and technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience with API-led integration and enterprise systems integration.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience across digital channels, backend platforms and APIs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security and technology controls.
• Experience working across Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Financial services, banking or insurance experience is highly advantageous.
