Sales Trainee (Automobile)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and career-focused Sales Trainee (Automobile) who is interested in building a career in automobile sales. The selected candidate will support sales activities, communicate with potential customers, understand their requirements, and develop practical knowledge of automobile products and sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage walk-in and prospective customers, understanding their requirements and guiding them toward suitable vehicle options.
• Assist senior sales staff in conducting vehicle presentations, test drives, and product demonstrations.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the showroom's vehicle lineup, specifications, features, and pricing.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through digital channels in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow up with prospective customers to nurture leads and support conversion to sales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and sales leads using the company's CRM or tracking system.
• Coordinate with the finance, documentation, and after-sales teams to ensure a smooth purchase and delivery process for customers.
• Support showroom display, merchandising, and cleanliness standards to maintain a professional customer experience.
• Stay informed on competitor products, market trends, and promotional offers relevant to the automobile sector.
• Participate in on-the-job training, sales coaching sessions, and performance reviews to progressively build sales competency.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets as assigned by the Sales Manager.
• Uphold the company's standards of customer service, integrity, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in automobile sales and technical products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively with potential customers and understand their requirements.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in EEE, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related discipline
