About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Analytics professional with 4 - 6 years of experience in analyzing product and customer data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven product decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, product analytics, experimentation, dashboards, and analytical problem-solving.
The role will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and Growth teams to understand user behavior, identify product opportunities, measure feature performance, and drive product improvements through data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product, customer, and user-behavior data to identify actionable insights.
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and business problems.
- Define and track product KPIs, metrics, and success criteria.
- Build and maintain product performance dashboards and analytical reports.
- Analyze user journeys, funnels, conversion rates, retention, engagement, and feature adoption.
- Conduct cohort analysis to understand customer behavior and product performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Design and analyze A/B tests and product experiments.
- Evaluate the impact of new features and product changes using quantitative analysis.
- Develop data-driven recommendations for product strategy and prioritization.
- Perform root-cause analysis on changes in key product metrics.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data quality and availability.
- Establish and maintain reliable metric definitions and reporting frameworks.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 4 - 6 years of experience in Product Analytics, Product Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
- Strong understanding of product metrics and analytics methodologies.
- Experience with funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and analytical tools.
Good to Have:
- Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
- Exposure to Python or R for analytical tasks.
- Experience working with digital products, SaaS, consumer technology, fintech, or marketplace businesses.
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and behavioral analytics.
- Exposure to data warehouse concepts and cloud-based analytics environments.
