Strategy Intern (Tai Labs)

Tai Labs builds AI products and training programmes for teams who are trying to work out what AI actually changes about their business. We move fast, ship in public, and make commercial decisions with real numbers behind them.

You will work directly with the CEO on the questions that decide where the company puts its time and money next.

What you'll do

• Research markets, competitors and pricing, and turn what you find into short, decision-ready briefs
• Build and maintain models for pricing, unit economics and revenue forecasting
• Pull data from the product, CRM and analytics tools, and find the patterns that matter
• Prepare materials for client and partner conversations, including proposals, one-pagers and decks
• Track the deal pipeline and keep the picture of where every opportunity stands accurate
• Run structured experiments on new offers and channels, then write up what worked and what did not
• Sit in on customer calls, capture the signal, and feed it back into how we position the product

What we're looking for

Essential

• Comfortable with numbers. You can build a model in a spreadsheet from a blank sheet and defend the assumptions in it
• Strong written English. Most of your output is short documents that busy people read once and act on
• Genuine curiosity about how businesses make money, not just about AI as a topic
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and asking good questions early
• Fluent with AI tools as part of how you work, not as a novelty

Nice to have

• Any exposure to consulting, venture capital, startup operations or corporate strategy
• Experience with a CRM, project tracker or analytics platform
• Familiarity with B2B sales cycles or education businesses
• Design sense for making documents and decks that look considered
