Associate Engineer / Engineering Intern, Power Platform

We are building a governance and compliance workflow platform for a large international organisation. The system tracks recommendations and audit findings end to end: logging, routing to focal points, automated reminders, evidence capture, review and approval, closure, and a full audit trail.

You will work directly with the founding engineering team on a live client deployment, from environment setup through to production rollout.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Model data and configure tables, relationships, and role-based security in Dataverse
• Design automated flows for notifications, reminders, and approval routing
• Set up and manage separate Dev and Prod environments, including solution packaging and deployment
• Build dashboards and reporting views for KPI and compliance tracking
• Document workflows, translate client process maps into system requirements, and keep technical documentation current
• Support user acceptance testing and iterate on feedback

What we're looking for

Essential

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, at minimum Power Apps and Power Automate. Personal projects and self-taught work count
• Understanding of relational data modelling
• Clear written English. You will be documenting systems that non-technical stakeholders read
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and asking good questions early

Nice to have

• Dataverse security roles and business units
• Power BI
• Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, or SharePoint
• Any exposure to audit, compliance, or governance processes
• Python or JavaScript for light scripting and integrations
• PL-900 or PL-100 certification
