Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Snapsheet’s Workflows team who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to create impactful solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the evolution of our industry-leading claims engine.

The Workflows team builds the platform that powers automation across Snapsheet, using configurable stages, event handlers, and scheduled system actions. In this role, you will design and build distributed systems and RESTful APIs that handle high volumes of events, manage complex data relationships, and run the logic that coordinates automated processes across our products.

What we are looking for:

  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
  • 5+ years of full-stack web development experience
    • Designing and building APIs
    • Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases
    • Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
  • Prior professional experience using React and/or Typescript a plus
  • Prior experience using Ruby on Rails a plus
  • Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted software development (AI SDLC) is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team
  • Commitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions
  • Ability to manage tasks and to contribute towards multiple initiatives during a sprint
