Mechanical Maintenance Reliability Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer II here at Solstice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance of our building systems and equipment, ensuring they meet safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that facilities are wellmaintained, comply with regulations, and operate smoothly on a daytoday basis
• Collaborate with the engineering team to manage the design, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure and systems within the facilities to enhance operational efficiency
• Participate in budget planning and managing allocated funds for maintenance and engineering activities, seeking costeffective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
• Monitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, including equipment and infrastructure, and coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades as needed
• Ensure that facilities adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, managing permits and certifications, and addressing compliance issues to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and engineering services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring their work aligns with established specifications and budget constraints
• Implement energysaving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and minimize the environmental footprint of facility operations
• Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to ensure that maintenance and engineering work consistently meets established standards and address any issues promptly
• Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive emergency response plans for facilityrelated incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other emergencies

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance engineering
• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
