IC Digital Design Intern

We are seeking an IC Digital Design Intern who will be involved in the design and development of advanced CMOS image sensors.

You will be part of an international team that works in the design of timing and control signals for pixel array readout, amplifiers, analogue/digital converters, signal processing blocks for noise reduction and colour enhancement, as well as I/O interfaces and low noise power supplies for use in Sony Semiconductor Solutions Image Sensors and similar speciality state-of-the-art products.

You will be part of a multi-discipline camera and imaging systems team, defining and documenting specifications, as well as developing RTL/firmware to control the sensor and process the video data. You will be a hands-on contributor who will also take full responsibility for the success of the design.

You will work closely with other teams in Japan and the rest of the design teams in Europe, with cross-functional teams (analogue design, PI, product engineering, and functional safety teams).

The internship will run in the Summer of 2027.

You will contribute to:

• Digital Design, Verification and Validation of IP blocks and the product
• Support various internal and external stakeholders

You will have:

• Ongoing Study of Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer/Software Engineering
• Applicants should be currently enrolled in a degree program with at least one year of studies remaining.
• Academic Background: Technical, Electronics, Software
• English speaking fluency
• Valid permit to work in Norway
