Salesforce Test Manager

The Salesforce Lead Tester is responsible for leading day-to-day testing activities across Salesforce projects and releases, ensuring solutions meet functional, technical, and business requirements. The role combines hands-on testing expertise with team leadership, coordinating testers, business users, and technical teams to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions. The Lead Tester will take ownership of test planning, execution, defect management, automation, and quality assurance activities, with particular focus on leveraging Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to improve regression coverage and accelerate release cycles.

Key Responsibilities Test Leadership - Lead and coordinate testing activities across Salesforce projects and Agile delivery teams. - Mentor and support junior testers and UAT participants. - Allocate testing tasks and monitor progress against plans. - Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and governance. Test Planning Execution - Produce detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Coordinate and execute: System Integration Testing (SIT) End-to-End Testing (E2E) Regression Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Smoke Testing - Validate business processes across Salesforce applications and integrated systems. - Track and report testing progress and quality metrics. Salesforce Quality Assurance Test Salesforce functionality across: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Data Cloud Agentforce Custom Salesforce applications Validate: - Flows - Apex - Validation rules - Security and sharing models - Integrations - Data migration activities - Ensure solutions align with business and regulatory requirements.

Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Copado Robotic Testing. Build reusable automated regression packs. Execute automated test suites as part of release cycles.

Support CI/CD pipelines through automated validation testing. Analyse automation results and resolve failures. Drive increased test automation coverage across Salesforce releases.

Defect Management Log, manage, and prioritise defects. Lead defect triage sessions with developers and business stakeholders. Track defect resolution and retesting activities.

Ensure critical issues are identified and resolved prior to deployment Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with: Product Owners Business Analysts Salesforce Administrators Developers Architects End Users Support business users during UAT. Provide regular status updates and quality assessments. Success Measures High test coverage across Salesforce releases.

Regression suite automation growth through Copado Robotic Testing. Reduction in production defects. Timely completion of testing activities.

Improved release confidence and deployment success rates. Positive stakeholder feedback on solution quality.
