Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Test Manager to lead the testing strategy, planning, governance, and execution across complex Salesforce programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality assurance across Salesforce clouds and integrated applications, ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest standards with minimal business risk. The role will require expertise in Salesforce testing methodologies, test automation, release management, and Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to support continuous testing and DevOps-driven delivery.
Key Responsibilities Test Strategy Governance - Define and maintain the overall test strategy for Salesforce programmes and releases. - Establish QA standards, test governance processes, and quality gates. - Create and manage test plans covering: System Testing (SIT); Integration Testing; End-to-End Testing (E2E); Regression Testing; User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Performance Testing - Ensure testing activities align with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery methodologies. - Provide regular quality and test status reporting to programme stakeholders. Test Management - Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle across multiple workstreams. - Coordinate business users, developers, architects, and third-party suppliers during test execution. - Establish defect management processes and drive defect triage sessions. - Monitor test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness. - Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases. Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead testing across: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Marketing Cloud Data Cloud Agentforce Custom Salesforce Platform applications Validate Salesforce configuration, Apex development, integrations, and data migration activities.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements. Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) - Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Copado Robotic Testing. - Develop and maintain reusable automated test suites for Salesforce applications. - Integrate Copado Robotic Testing into CI/CD delivery pipelines. - Drive shift-left testing practices and automated regression coverage. - Establish automation KPIs and continuously improve test effectiveness. - Support DevOps and release management teams in achieving automated deployment validation. Stakeholder Management - Work closely with Programme Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects. - Facilitate UAT planning and execution with business stakeholders. - Present test progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics to programme governance boards. - Provide subject matter expertise on Salesforce testing best practices.
Risk Quality Management - Identify testing risks and proactively develop mitigation plans. - Ensure appropriate quality controls are applied throughout project delivery. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across testing and QA processes. - Support audits and compliance reviews where required.
