Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer experienced in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) with Next.js framework expertise. You will be responsible for building end-to-end web applications, integrating OpenAI APIs, and deploying scalable solutions on AWS. This is a hands-on development role where you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-performance, secure, and user-friendly digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stackand Next.jsframework.
- Integrate OpenAI APIsand other third-party AI tools to enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Build responsive, intuitive UIs using Tailwind CSSand Material-UI (MUI)for a modern, polished interface.
- Design scalable APIs, implement RESTful and GraphQL endpoints, and ensure smooth data flow between front- and back-end.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain clean, well-structured, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and agile sprint planning.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging tools and technologies to improve performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ yearsof hands-on experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in the MERN stack(MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Deep expertise with Next.jsfor server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Experience integrating OpenAIor other LLM-based APIs.
- Working knowledge of AWScloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
- Strong command of Tailwind CSSand Material-UI (MUI)for building responsive and visually appealing UIs.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Prior experience integrating third-party APIs or AI-based tools into production applications.
